High Adventure might be viewed by some as the final exam in Boy Scouts. You spend many years learning Scoutcraft, honing your outdoors skills, learning how to deal with adverse weather, and generally how to become one with nature. You respect the outdoors and know how to handle yourself. In Boy Scouts, this is what you do as you lead up to earning the rank of First Class. Once you have reached First Class and you are of appropriate age (13-14, depending on the adventure chosen), you are now eligible to go on a Boy Scout High Adventure. Troop 73 has gone on 4 High Adventure trips in the last 6 years.
